Breast Lift Surgery Cost – What is the Price of a Breast Lift?
When it comes to almost any type of surgical procedure, there are general three separate fees involved. These fees include the professional fee, which is the money that goes directly to the surgeon, the anesthetic fee which covers the anesthesia as well as the anesthesiologist and the facility fee which includes the facility as well as the equipment used in the procedure. In regards to a breast lift, two of these three fees can be guesstimated with close accuracy while the third is a little more difficult. Of the two that can be guesstimated with ease, the first is the anesthetic fee. For a breast lift the anesthetic fee will generally run between $1,000 and $1,200 total. As far as the facility fee, this can vary slightly depending on location and competition as well as the cost of living but in general it can be roughed between $500 and $1,500 total. As far as the professional fee, this one is the third which is substantially harder to estimate as each doctor is different. Depending on a variety of factors like the surgeon’s experience, competition and geographical location of his or her home, the costs associated with a breast lift and the profession fee can range from about $3,500 all the way to $6,000 and up.
While you may be tempted to choose the cheapest surgeon you can find, it is also important to realize that you get what you pay for and if you choose the cheapest, then that is all you can expect from the outcome. By going up the pay scale even the slightest bit, you will find that the surgeons will have a lot more experience in the breast lift procedure which also means that the outcome will be that much better.
Make sure that your surgeon is qualified to perform the breast lift procedure as well as if they have experience in performing it. Last but not least, it is always a good thing to make sure that your plastic surgeon is certified by the board of cosmetic surgeon as this will greatly reduce your chances of an awful plastic surgery while at the same time, you will also have less of a chance of having to deal with a complication or risk associated with your breast lift.

Crescent Breast Lift Surgery
When it comes to a breast lift, there are several different incision types, each of which has there own purpose as well as outcome potential. One of these incisions is known as the crescent incision or crescent breast lift. This incision, a semicircle incision is made on either the top or bottom side of the areola depending on the amount of lift that is needed. After this procedure or semicircle incision is made, a second incision is made only a slight distance from the first creating the shape of a crescent.
The effect of the two incisions means that there will be a crescent shaped piece of skin that will be removed. What this does is it slows the surgeon to pull the loose sagging skin from three sides of the breasts tighter and the result is a lift in the breasts.
After these incisions are made and the excess skin is removed, the surgeon will then pull the opening closed and suture it shut. Before he or she does though, in the event it is needed, they may use dissolving stitches to hold everything together as well as support the breasts in such a way as to release the pressure from the visible stitching. After this support suturing is performed your incisions will be closed and then dressed with tape and compression bandages which will remain on for roughly a week with regular changing.
The procedure is considered to be the least invasive of the incisions and it also therefore has a shorter recovery time. The other incision types make a full incision around the nipple completely detaching it other than the actual milk ducts.
It is important that when you are choosing a surgeon to perform your procedure, that you make sure that he or she is a certified surgeon with the board of plastic surgeons. What this means is that basically the surgeon has shown that he or she is knowledgeable and that they are experienced enough to perform the procedure alone. Furthermore, the fact that the surgeon is considered to be experienced and knowledgeable also means that there will be a lesser chance of having a complication associated with your procedure as well as a faster recovery period and a better outcome.

Breast Lift – A Solution to Sagging Breasts
Mastopexy, more commonly known as breast lift, is the only true surgical solution to sagging breasts, which may be result of pregnancy or other reasons. These are a major cause of social embarrassment, and social exposures like bikinis etc are always a problem. A mastopexy, takes care of this situation, by creating a perkier, lifted breast which is socially appealing.
The problem
Breast sags in women due to aging, as a loss of breast tissue support and gravity. It may be following pregnancy where there is damage to the elastic fibers due to stretching. It may however be present in normal girls also. where it is a feature from puberty itself. The problems one faces due to this are entirely cosmetic, with no functional component attached to it. The girl cannot wear reveling clothes or tops with plunging necklines, as there is no cleavage at all. similarly wearing a bikini is an issue, as the breast shape is visible through it and thus there is a hesitation in these clothes
The solution
Breast sagging is also known medically as ptosis. Now ptosis is classified into mild, moderate and severe according to the position of the nipple. Thus, if the nipple is slightly lower than normal, it is mild, while it is severe, it the position of the nipple is very far down its normal expected position.
Mild ptosis may be corrected by procedures which involve an incision around the areola, and hence the scar is around the areola, which is not too visible. it is also possible to put an implant through this incision, if the girl wants the size of the breast to be increased
In more sever cases, the correction required larger incisions, which are visible on the breast. But this is a small aspect if we can correct the breast shape and give a much more desirable shape to the breast. Scars, though le, tend to lighten with time.
Results
With newer techniques such as the Pectoral loop procedure, which is famous in Brazil (where the author is trained), the breast shape is maintained for prolonged periods. The shape is pleasing, and there is high level of satisfaction. The patient must understand, however, that though this is a purely cosmetic procedure, there may be problems with future lactation, and the scars of course are a trade off to shape.
But what does a woman like better A BETTER BREAST SHAPE OR SCARS !!!!!!

Breast Lift and Breast Augmentation
As we get older, we see many changes in our bodies. Women may notice that their breasts start to drop or sag. Some women opt to have a type of cosmetic surgery called a breast lift. Other opt to increase the size of their breasts with implants. Either procedure is major surgery. But if someone has already made up their mind to get this procedure, they should learn the facts first.
A breast lift (which is technically called mastopexy) is surgery designed to lift breast tissue and make the breasts higher and firmer. Women may consider this if they feel their breasts have fallen or hang, or if they hang unevenly. Candidates for a breast lift are women who are healthy and of normal weight. It’s also important that you not be a smoker. A breast lift does not make the size of the breasts larger. There is another type of plastic surgery called breast augmentation that does that.
During a lift, tissue is removed or reshaped, and the areolas may be repositioned. A lift can be done alone or in combination with augmentation. Augmentation involves the use of implants, which can be made of silicon or saline material. Both breast lift surgery and augmentation surgery will result in pain, swelling and bruising which can last for at least several weeks.
A woman considering this should not do it for anyone else, and should consider if this is really the right thing to do. There can be many complications, including infection, scarring, blood clots, bleeding, and bad reaction to anesthesia. There can also be numbness or loss of sensation. In addition, there is a chance that implants can leak or interfere with mammogram results. You should discuss all possible risks with your surgeon. It is also important that someone considering this choose a qualified and board-certified plastic surgeon.

Breast Lift – Should You Have One?
Cosmetic surgery is rapidly becoming more popular for the average woman, particularly breast lifts. After a certain point in your life, you’ll find that your breasts begin to move southward and a few years later, most women are interested in doing something about that. Breast lifts aren’t for everyone, but they can be a good way to boost how you feel about yourself.
What Exactly Is a Breast Lift?
A breast lift is a relatively simple cosmetic procedure that removes the extra tissue and fat to lift breasts back into their natural position. However, it is a surgical procedure, so you will need to be healthy and without any underlying conditions in order to consider this procedure.
Who Has Breast Lifts
Women with larger breasts tend to have problems with drooping, particularly after the age of 30, but this isn’t an exclusive club. After having children and breastfeeding, most mothers experience some drastic changes in their breasts. Even fairly young women can experience this problem and while a good bra can certainly help give the impression of youthful perkiness, it’s not a permanent solution and doesn’t help when you are standing naked in front of the mirror.
That being said, it really does depend on your own self image. Some women are content with the changes in their bodies that come with age and the joy of bearing children. They accept that this is simply nature’s course. However, others feel that they would be happier with this small change to their outward appearance and are willing to do something about it.
Why You Might Consider a Breast Lift
If you are over the age of 30 and have noticed that your breasts are definitely starting to sag, it may be time to consider some help. Using a good supportive bra will aid in keeping the breast tissue from breaking down to some extent, but this solution won’t work forever and when the inevitable happens, you may find that you are willing to take more extreme measures to get that youthful look back.
For many women, their bodies are connected to their self esteem and sense of self worth. So, when things start to deteriorate, it can be a good time to consider looking into breast lifts. It can really help you feel better about yourself and improve your self esteem as you get older and find that your breasts, one of the most noticeable areas of the body, begin to sag.
Making the Decision
For some women, the decision to have a breast lift is a big one, while others will find that they decide quite easily. It is a good idea to research the benefits and possible risks before you make your decision and educate yourself on what to expect. Talking to other women who have had breast lifts can give you a good idea of what will happen before, during and after the procedure.
You will also need to speak with a surgeon to find out if you are a good candidate for a breast lift With a proper assessment, you’ll be able to move forward with your plans to renew the youthful look of your breasts.
While breast lifts aren’t for everyone, they are definitely a way to improve your body and this can boost self esteem and make you feel great about yourself again. Most women over 30 have at least considered this procedure and since it is now far more available and affordable than ever before, this is the ideal time to have a breast lift done if you’ve been considering it for a while.
